The Avenida Nove de Julho is a major traffic thoroughfare and so inappropriate for families, which is why many buildings with kitchenette-type apartments were realized here. The building is set back from the street alignment in order to rise almost with- out further setbacks. Ten kitchenettes are repeated from the 1st to the 19th floor, with two supplementary larger ones with terraces from the 1st to the 7th which tie in with the compulsory street alignment. The building sets back slightly on the 20th and 21st floors and thus allows for only six kitchenettes. Two floors of commercial areas are incorporated 2m lower and 2m higher from the street level and are linked by ramps.
